Canadian Government Research Grants 

Humanities and Social Sciences

The Canadian High Commission in Canberra administers the  Canadian Studies Program in Australia and New Zealand in Humanities and Social Sciences. The guidelines and application forms are available on the Association for Canadian Studies in Australia and New Zealand website (click on "Grants and Awards")

Funds research that build knowledge and expertise on social, cultural and economic issues. Foreign researchers can be funded as co-applicants within selected SSHRC programs or can be supported (travel and subsistence) as collaborators within any SSHRC programs.

Foreign researchers may be collaborators on a Canada-based research team/project. Foreign applicants may apply for specific postdoctoral fellowships.

Foreign researchers may be co-applicants on a Canada-based research team/project. Foreign applicants may apply for specific postdoctoral fellowships.

Foreign applicants may only apply for NRC Research Associateships (postdoctoral fellowships).
