NHMRC Reporting

The funding conditions for NHMRC grants/fellowships require the submission of annual or mid-term reports and a final report.

NHMRC Research Support Annual Progress Reports

Progress Reports must be sent to the Monash Research Office for submission to NHMRC by 31 March following each calendar year in which there were payments or carry-forward of funds for a NHMRC Grant Funding Agreement, except the final year when the Final Report form must be used. In 2010 NHMRC has advised a change to the due date for mid-term reports for this year only to 30 June 2010.

Researcher Support

Reports for Research, Practitioner and Australia Fellows are due by 31st of August in the third year of the grant.

Postdoctoral Training Fellowships

One mid-term progress report is due within 3 months on completion of the 2nd year of the fellowship. The final report will be due within 3 months of Fellowship completion. In both cases, the due dates are from the anniversary of commencement.

Career Development Awards

All CDA holders are required to submit a mid term progress report.
Five year awards: mid-term report due by the 31 August in the third year of the award, to cover the period up to and including 30 June of the third year.
Four year awards: mid-term report due by the 31 March in the third year of the award to cover the two year period up to and including 31 December of the second year.

NHMRC Final reports - all grants and fellowships

A Final Report must be sent to the Monash Research Office for submission to NHMRC within six months of the completion of the approved funding period for all awards. This report enables the NHMRC to assess whether the objectives of the award have been achieved.

A signed electronic version of each report is to be emailed to: nhmrc@adm.monash.edu.au . Please list the name of the type of research grant and application ID # in the subject field of the email. Either MS Word or PDF electronic document formats are acceptable, but please note that Reports that have been scanned and then converted to PDF documents will not be accepted.
