Dr Kaye Morgan has won the 2017 Royal Society of Victoria Phillip Law Award for Physical Sciences - She is an outstanding researcher in our School. Congratulations Kaye! One can see that previous award winners include another excellent researcher from the School, Dr Marcus Kitchen.

Watch Athira Menon's People's Award winning entry in the University 3MT competition - one of our PhD students, Athira Menon, has won the People's Award at the University's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, and was runner up overall. Many congratulations to Athira!

Dr Jasmina Lazendic-Galloway wins a Monash Teacher Accelerator award - an outstanding educator within our school, Dr Lazendic-Galloway recently received well-deserved recognition for her excellence in teaching.

Athira Menon wins 3MT - one of our PhD students, Athira Menon, has won the Science Faculty's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition and will represent the Science Faculty in the University-wide event.

GOTO telescope launched - a telescope has been launched for detecting the optical signals related to a source of gravitational waves. Known as the Gravitational-wave Optical Transient Observer (GOTO), academics from our School are involved in the project.
