Swim Fit Classes are designed for members and casual users who wish to add swimming to their health and fitness routine.
Swimming is a great way to improve cardio respiratory fitness and endurance. It is also a great all over body workout, increasing core strength and muscle tone in a non-impact environment. It is also a proven recovery method.
Classes are conducted by AUSTSWIM qualified instructors, designed to increase fitness levels whilst providing stroke correction and instruction to improve swimming technique.
Whether you are a recreational swimmer, wanting to improve your fitness and swimming ability or have goals of participating in open water or other aquatic events, these classes are for you*.
These classes are available for all Aquatics and Fitness + Aquatics Members and casual Swim Fit pass holders.
*A minimum ability of swimming continuously for 100m using at least 2 competitive swimming strokes. The instructor may assess ability and recommend our comprehensive Adult Learn to Swim program to assist in achieving minimum swimming standards for the Swim Fit Class.
