Endeavour grants

International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) grants

ISEP grants are provided by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). ISEP grants are available to students applying for exchange to USA, Denmark, France and to Warwick in the UK for semester 2/2012 and semester 1/2013.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a ISEP grant you must be:

  • an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • enrolled in an undergraduate course at Monash
  • selected by Monash to go on exchange to one of Monash's exchange partners
  • studying full-time at this university for at least one semester
  • also not receiving a Monash travel grant, Japanese Government scholarship, DAAD or other significant financial support from Monash University
  • must not have received an Australian Government Endeavour Grant previously
  • will only be eligible for one grant whether going for one or two semesters

How to apply

For ISEP grants to USA, Denmark and France; all you have to do is apply to go on exchange. No separate application is necessary because we automatically consider you for the grant once accepted in an exchange program. If there are not enough grants to go around, these grants are awarded on the basis of academic merit.

ISEP grants are normally awarded as soon as all exchange students have received offers from the partner universities. All students who applied for these exchanges will be notified of the outcome. There are a limited number of grants and not all students will be offered an ISEP grant.

Students applying to go to the University of Warwick will be required to make a separate application. Please contact your Monash Abroad International Education Coordinator for details.

For further information, attend a Monash Abroad Information Session.
