Berwick campus

Berwick is Monash University's newest Australian campus. It is just 40 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD, in Melbourne's fastest growing urban corridor.

The Berwick campus has about 2000 students and is renowned for its strong sense of community, links to industry, outstanding student support and rich student experience. It is an international learning community with strong links to its local region, with a modern learning environment, and greater access to academic staff.

The campus is just a five-minute walk to Berwick Village, a popular destination for cafes, boutiques, day spas and business services.

Getting there

By train

Take the Pakenham line to Berwick railway station. The campus is a four-minute walk from the station.

By car

Travel about 40 minutes from the city centre along Citylink and the Monash Freeway. If travelling from Melbourne's north or south, travel along Eastlink and exit east at the Monash Freeway.

CityLink and EastLink are both tollways. Please check their websites if you need information about how to pay the toll.

If you are travelling from Melbourne airport, add 15 minutes travel time.

Parking

Staff and students need parking permits. Visitors pay for parking. See the campus map (pdf 152 kb) to locate specific parking areas.
