Assessment and course informationCreditAs enhancement studies units are standard Monash University units, students who successfully complete the program and who are subsequently selected for and enrol in a Monash University degree course for which that study is a legitimate part will, on request, be granted credit for that study. Units for which credit is granted are exempt from student contribution fees. Exams and assessmentMost Enhancement units will involve an examination at the end of semester and other types of assessment during the semester i.e. research reports, lab work, essays etc. For more information visit the subject areas* page for more information. It is important that you find out how you will be assessed in your subject and if you are unclear about anything make sure you check with your teacher or Unit Coordinator. ResultsVisit the news and events page to find out when your results will be released. A statement of results will be sent to your home address when results are released and you will receive an official transcript of results at the end of the year. You can also access your results via the my.monash portal. WithdrawingFailing or withdrawing from enhancement studies will not affect tertiary selection in any other way or form a part of any university record for you as a future university student A student may withdraw from the program after their application has been approved, however the student will forfeit the $60 application fee. Students who wish to withdraw after they have formally enrolled must do so in writing prior to 31 March in order to have their enrolment fee refunded, less the $60 application fee. There will be no refund of the enrolment fee after 31 March. Late fees are non refundable. See also: 2009 Student Guide (pdf 1784kb) |
