It's easy to apply to study at Monash.
International students who are currently studying Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate in Australia follow a different process. All other international students should follow the instructions below.
You can apply through Monash directly, or you can apply through an agent.
Check our general entry requirements for international students. Some courses have extra entry requirements called 'prerequisites', such as maths folios or interview. You will need to check your course entry on Course Finder to see if prerequisites apply. If you don't meet the entry requirements, you may still be able to enter Monash via a pathway program at Monash College.
Before you apply, read through the step-by-step guide. The guide explains how to use the online applicant portal.
The step-by-step guide explains the types of supporting documents you'll need to get together. See our guide on certifying documents for international students.
When you have all your supporting documents ready, there are two ways to apply directly to Monash. You can:
If you choose to complete the application form, send your completed application form with all your documents and a draft for A$100 to Monash University by email or post to: Central Admissions at Monash Connect, Monash University, Building A, Ground floor, 900 Dandenong Road, Caulfield East, VIC 3145, Australia.
Waiting is frustrating, isn't it? If you apply online, you can track your application by logging back into the applicant portal.
We will assess your application against the minimum age, English, and academic entry requirements, and let you know whether your application has been successful. You may receive a full offer, a conditional offer, or you may find your application has been unsuccessful – whatever the case, find out how to respond to an offer and what to do next.
If you've received a full offer, you need to pay your deposit and return your completed and signed copy of your International Student Course Agreement (ISCA) to Monash. Find out exactly how to accept your offer.
After you accepted your offer, we'll send you an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE). You need this to process your student visa. Find out more about organising your visa.
You can start the enrolment process once everything is organised. Find out more about enrolling.
