Pre-departure briefings

Please take note of our upcoming Monash University Pre-departure Briefings which are held prior to each semester in countries including Singapore and Malaysia. All new students who will be joining the University in Semester 2, 2008 are invited to attend the briefing in their country.

The sessions provide information on:

• Enrolment
• IT requirements
• What to bring to Australia
• Customs and quarantine
• Airport reception and transfer service
• ESOS regulations and visa matters
• Accommodation
• Cost of living
• Banking
• Transport
• Campus and local Melbourne communities
• Cultural differences and adjustment
• Support services for international students

The briefings also provide an opportunity to meet other new students.

Staff from Health Wellbeing and Development and Monash Residential Services, along with past international Monash students will be in attendance to answer your questions.
