Have you ever wanted to travel the world but feel you need to go to uni first?
By studying education at Monash you can do both. Take advantage of our Professional Experience program to gain a truly global perspective. You might end up teaching cricket to children in the Cook Islands, or maths to kids in South Africa, or teaching English in Italy or China. The opportunities for you to learn to teach across the world are diverse.
You could also choose to stay closer to home and do a placement in a country town or in a remote Indigenous community such as Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory.
Education happens beyond the classroom too, so placements are not limited to classroom settings. You might participate in educational programs with groups such as Scouts Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria, museums or the Melbourne Football Club's "Read Like a Demon" program. All placements are arranged on your behalf by our Professional Experience Office.
Even when you've completed your studies, the travel opportunities don't end there. Our graduates know how to make a difference. They become industry leaders in the region and globally where they create impact within the education sector and beyond.
