Ultimate power in students hands
Ultimate power for the Monash Students' Association lies with student general meetings - the only example of a system of mass democracy in an Australian university at this time.
Monash students were keen to have a say in the running of the University from the get-go. By 1967, students were campaigning for more involvement in running the University. The Labor Club’s magazine, Print, advocated for a voice for students in the administration.
