Moderna announced in August that it will build its first mRNA production facility in the Southern Hemisphere within the Monash Technology Precinct – becoming the world’s first mRNA production facility to be located on a university campus. We also entered into an agreement with mRNA Victoria to establish the Monash Centre for Advanced mRNA Manufacturing and Workforce Training, which will be an integral part of building Australia’s mRNA ecosystem.
