State of the art student accommodation
Gillies Hall is Australia's first student accommodation built to passive house standards. It has 150 fully furnished self-contained studio apartments built over 5 levels and has become the focus of residential communal life at Peninsula campus.
Monash University, Peninsula campus is part of a vibrant regional integrated health and education precinct, and is fast becoming a leading centre of allied health and primary care education and research.
Gillies Hall has generous communal facilities including common rooms, games room with pool table and table tennis table, music room and floor lounges.

The plans for Peninsula are ambitious and enterprising. Over the next five years, you will see the campus evolve into a vibrant precinct for health, business and education, integrating even more deeply with the local community.
Our plans include:
- A new School of Primary and Allied Healthcare.
- Strengthening our business and education facilities.
- Investing over $20 million in upgrading and enhancing the campus.
- Establishing Monash University, Peninsula campus as Australia’s leading centre of allied health and primary care education and research, building on existing strengths in emergency medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nursing.
