Monash University Community Council

The Monash University Community Council was established to ensure that our international students have a safe and supportive environment in which to reach their full potential. The Community Council is chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ed Byrne.

Monash University believes that ensuring international students have a positive experience during their studies in Australia is a whole of community responsibility. The Community Council brings together representatives of local governments, the City of Melbourne, Victoria Police, and Monash University to undertake activities, share information and consult with international and local students to deliver outcomes which enhance the international student university experience.
