Outcome 14: Community exposure to support services and reporting pathways messaging is increased

Comprehensive mapping of key communications contact points for staff and students during pre-employment/enrolment, induction/orientation, during employment/study, and post departure has been undertaken to help ensure all communication opportunities to highlight support services and reporting pathways are utilised.

Promotional banners directing students to the Safer Community Unit for reporting and support have been embedded in Moodle. Promotion of Safer Community Unit and the Monash bSafe app on my.Monash portal during peak periods has been integrated into communications plans.

A triennial communications strategy has been drafted to help ensure consistent promotion to students and staff of reporting pathways, support services, and prevention practices which will be shared with key stakeholders for feedback and review ahead of finalisation in Q3, 2023.

An animation detailing the University’s support services and reporting pathways has been developed for University-wide implementation, including in class settings,  in semester 2, 2023
