Betty Amsden AO Alumni Mentoring
The Betty Amsden AO Alumni Mentoring program matches our student mentor leaders with alumni mentors, to help support their transition from university to the workplace.
Mentor leaders from the Access Monash Mentoring program who demonstrate outstanding commitment and have experienced educational disadvantaged, are selected to join this alumni mentoring program as mentees. They are matched with alumni mentors in their chosen industry, who provide them with career guidance and knowledge. Students also receive financial support towards their studies with the Betty Amsden AO Mentor Leaders scholarship, in recognition of their service and leadership.
Mentors are Monash alumni dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential. They volunteer their time and expertise supporting students through activities such as mentoring sessions, industry experience and job shadowing opportunities.
Through this program, we aim to facilitate equitable access to graduate employment for the student mentees, which they otherwise may not have. This program is jointly supported by the Betty Amsden AO Foundation.
