Faculty Experiences and Camps
Monash faculties develop and deliver tailored experiences that give students at our partner schools a taste of study and work in a range of fields and professions.
Hands on Health
Hands on Health is an immersive work experience program held in a busy hospital setting, which introduces students to a range of health professions. Students participate in specialist rounds visiting patients on wards, and meet doctors who showcase their profession using real-life examples.
Learning and Making in Art Design and Architecture (LAMADA) Camp
A three-day experience giving students a first-hand insight into studying and working in the creative arts. It’s a chance for students to get a head start on their Art, Studio Art, Visual Communication and Product Design and Technology folios in hands-on design lab sessions. They also find out what it’s like to work in creative fields such as architecture and visual communications.
Monash Media Camp
Over three days, students experience what it’s like to study and work in journalism and media. They find out what it’s like to work at a real news network by experiencing the Monash Media Lab – the most advanced
media studio in Australia. They also learn the basic skills of news writing and reporting, and record their own TV news bulletin and radio interview in our studios.
