Train Stations

Caulfield Station is directly opposite the Monash Caulfield Campus and provides access to the city as well as the Frankston, Pakenham and Cranbourne train lines. Nearby train stations include Glen Huntly, Malvern, Carnegie, Murrumbeena and Oakleigh.

Inter-campus Shuttle Bus

Regular, free shuttle buses (with free wi-fi) link our Clayton campus with our Caulfield and Peninsula campuses, and our Peninsula campus to Frankston Railway Station. The Caulfield Campus is serviced by the Melbourne Tram Network, with routes 3 and 3a travelling from Caulfield to the city and beyond. Refer to the map for more details.


There are several shopping centres within close proximity to the Monash Caulfield Campus.

Caulfield Shopping Centre is located right next to the Campus, and offers a pharmacy, Asian grocer, a range of takeaway food places and Coles supermarket.

Chadstone: The Fashion Capital - located just minutes from campus, take the 900 bus service from Caulfield Station.

Malvern Shopping Centre can be found less than 2km from the Campus

Glenferrie Road shopping precinct is great for everyday shopping.

Prahran Market on Commercial Road is a great local market full of fresh produce.


There are many ways to entertain yourself, including two major cinema complexes located at Chadstone and at the Jam Factory on Chapel Street..

Vintage lovers should visit the Camberwell Market on Sunday mornings to browse through hundreds of stalls selling everything from bric-a-brac and homewares to clothing and collectibles.
