Respect Now Always Dinner
The MRS Respect.Now.Always (RNA) committee was formed in 2019 to help raise awareness of gender inequality.
Led by MRS residents, the committee's goal is to "inspire students and provide actionable ways to make a positive difference in relation to gender equality on a local and global scale".
On Friday 30 August 150 MRS residents came together for the RNA Dinner, hosted by the committee, and engaged in conversation around how they could make changes that ensured gender equality.
Guest speakers Meghan Wright (current MSA Women's Officer) and Meabh Friel (Director of Communications at One Girl) presented their experiences to attendees, empowering guests to take steps towards making change in their own communities.
Student-led initiatives like this are incredibly important in creating awareness and change throughout our communities.
