Mr Joel Neoh Eu-Jin
Joel Neoh is one of Southeast Asia’s most recognised young entrepreneurs.
Joel is currently the CEO and Founder of Fave, one of the region’s fastest growing Fintech platform to accelerate digital payments and financial services.
The Fave mobile app is currently used by over 7 million people in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.
Fave is supported by some of the most reputable investors in the region including Sequoia Capital.
Joel has received the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and was named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
Malaysian Tatler also awarded Joel Entrepreneur Par Excellence in 2018.
After graduating from Monash, Joel co-founded Says.com a digital media platform that disrupted traditional media & advertising.
Says.com merged with Rev Asia and went public on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, and was eventually acquired by the largest Malaysian media company, Media Prima in 2017 for RM120 million.
Joel was also one of the early founders of Groupon in Asia, and within 4 years grew the e-commerce platform into a USD$2 billion dollar business with over 2,500 employees spanning across 12 countries.
As a strong advocate for entrepreneurship, Joel is a board member for numerous companies, actively mentors founders and has invested in over 20 technology startups across Asia; including Prenetics CircleDNA the leading genetic testing and digital health company in Southeast Asia.
Joel is currently a board director for the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM); which is supported by Securities Commission Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia to promote good governance and enhance board effectiveness of companies.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University. He was then on the advisory board of the Monash School of Business and awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2016.
