Ms Dimitra Manis

Ms Dimitra Manis is a bold, transformational human resources leader with genuine global experience in the United States, Europe and Asia. With experience working across multiple industries, she is a trusted advisor to Chief Executive Officers, executive teams, and boards of directors on business, compensation, organisational change, diversity and talent strategies. Leveraging expertise in organisational effectiveness, she has successfully led a significant number of mergers and acquisitions integrations, particularly in emerging markets. An innovative leader, Ms Manis is known for engaging and growing top talent and creating high-performing, dynamic leadership teams.

Ms Manis is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer for Revlon Inc. based in New York City. Before Revlon, she was the Senior Vice President, Global Talent, for Estee Lauder Companies. Before joining the beauty industry, she worked for five years in technology/data analytics based companies, OpenLink and Thomson Reuters.

Ms Manis joined Thomson Reuters in April 2009 after having spent the previous seven years in senior leadership roles with AXA Group, a Paris-headquartered global leader in financial services and wealth management services. She was responsible for talent management, development and succession planning globally. Previously, she was General Manager, Human Resources and Internal Communications for AXA Asia Pacific.

In Australia, Ms Manis held top human resources executive positions at Nike, Nortel, and Village Roadshow, where she was the leader of the human resources function for each organisation. She is a Business graduate of Monash University and holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Deakin University.

In addition, Ms Manis has held several board positions for non-profit organisations. Ms Manis has taught as an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business, USA, Cornell University, USA, Mountbatten Institute/St Mary’s College, United Kingdom and Monash University. She is also a member of the Monash alumni Global Leaders' Network Advisory Committee based in New York City.

Ms Manis is married to Peter and they have two daughters, Koni and Stefi and they have lived in New York City for the last nine years.
