25 February: GPS Seminar by Rosita Tandos, State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah, Jakarta

Empowering Women in P/CVE

Women are among groups impacted mostly by radicalism and terrorism, changing their roles as victims into recruiters, fund-risers, perpetrators and martyrdoms. On the other hand, various efforts have been done to involve women to be more active for and against VE groups. Learning from current Indonesian government policies and programs, these efforts involve more women and supported by CVO/s and other strategic groups in society, aiming to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE), and covering interventions at levels of individuals, family, group, organization, and community.
