Sarah Boyd is co-founder and managing partner of The Gender Agency. She is a specialist in gender-based programing and implementation in humanitarian contexts. She has previously worked or consulted for Oxfam Australia, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Agency for International Development, the Institute of Human Rights Communication in Nepal, the UNHCR and the University of Melbourne.
She is currently located in Yangon, Myanmar where she is working as a Gender Adviser to the Nyein (Shalom) Foundation. Sarah is also Australia’s civil society representative to the 60th Commission on the Status of Women in New York, and sits on the steering committee of the Australian WPS Coalition.
