Sara Phillips is the Program Officer at Monash GPS. She has been involved at the Centre previously, as an Intern and then Research Assistant. Sara completed her Masters in International Relations at Monash University. Her thesis examined the inclusion of child combatants in the 2016-2017 Colombian peace process. Before commencing postgraduate studies, Sara worked as a Project Support Officer at a London-based charity that supports youth leadership. Sara also completed her Bachelor of Arts (Global) and Diploma in Languages at Monash University.
Yolanda Riveros Morales
Yolanda Riveros Morales is an Economist from Colombia. She has a Masters in Economy from Los Andes University, Colombia. Yolanda gained experience in the development and implementation of public policy through her work with the Colombian Government, particularly in the areas of gender, human rights and poverty. Some of the policy projects that Yolanda has played a key role in include the ‘Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Strategy’, the ‘Multidimensional Poverty Index (GPI-OPHI)’, and updating the Government’s social service policy to improve access for poor communities. She is currently making use of her skills in data and statistical analyses working as a research assistant on the project "Towards Inclusive Peace: Mapping Gender Provisions of Peace Agreements" in the Monash GPS Centre.
