Elliot Dolan-Evansis a post-doctorate sessional at Monash University. Elliot investigates the impact that international financial institutions and economic reforms have on women’s political and economic participation in post- and peri-conflict society. His thesis examined this issue in Ukraine and investigated the gendered political economy of post-Soviet transition in the country, and how it has contributed to the ongoing War in Donbass. Elliot is a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery and a Bachelor of Law graduate and is a non-practicing medical doctor and a lawyer. He has volunteered extensively in the community in both medical and legal capacities to assist refugee and Indigenous women and men, with several not-for-profit organisations in Queensland and Victoria.
