Khulud is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Monash Gender, Peace and Security Centre. Her PhD research focuses on women's lived experiences under persecution. In her research, she explored gender segregation policies, refugees journeys, and religious extremism. Khulud also holds a Masters Degree in Organisational Leadership from Monash University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. She has worked as a lecturer overseas, volunteered at Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in Melbourne and delivered several guest lectures in Arab women's rights and participated in conferences on gender and migration.
