Elliot Dolan-Evans

PhD Candidate

Elliot Dolan-Evans is a doctoral candidate at Monash University. Elliot investigates the impact that international financial institutions have on women’s political and economic participation in post-conflict society. His thesis examines this issue in Ukraine and investigates the gendered political economy of post-Soviet transition in the country, and how it has contributed to the ongoing War in Donbass. Elliot is a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery and a Bachelor of Law graduate and is a non-practicing medical doctor and legal graduate. He has volunteered extensively in the community in both medical and legal capacities to assist refugee and Indigenous women and men, with several not-for-profit organisations in Queensland and Victoria.
