Environment & Media Research Program

Environment and Media Research Program

Producing new knowledge about the media and the environment across Film and Screen Studies, Media and Communications, and Journalism. The Program has three core research priorities: Representing Sustainability; Documenting Ecologies; and Environmental Politics, Data and the Digital.

The Environment and Media Program is based in Melbourne on the unceded lands of the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation. We pay our deepest respect to the traditional owners of this land, and acknowledge their ongoing relationship with the lands and waterways.
