Webinar: The uncertain future of immigration to small and mid-sized cities

In partnership with Ryerson University, Canadian Excellence Research Chair on Migration and Integration (CERC), MMIC will host a webinar titled, ‘The uncertain future of immigration to small and mid-sized cities’ on Friday, May 14 at 8-9am AEST (Thursday May 13, 6-7pm Canadian time).

The webinar will be chaired by Melissa Kelly, Research Fellow from CERC who will lead the panel discussion on the opportunities and challenges of migration to small and mid-sized cities in Australia and Canada following the pandemic. Panellists include our Director, Associate Professor Rebecca Wickes, Associate Professor Anna Ziersch, Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute, Flinders University, Clemence Due, Senior Lecturer, School of Psychology, University of Adelaide and Ather Akbari, Professor, Sobey School of Business, Saint Mary’s University.
