Creative and Critical Methodologies

The School is home to internationally recognised experts in critical and creative methodologies including narrative inquiry, critical autoethnography and autotheory, graphic notation, and other approaches that combine and transform visual, embodied, written, and sound-based modes of inquiry and representation.

The school’s esteemed honorary and adjunct staff include creative and critical methodologies pioneers Art Bochner, Carolyn Ellis, and Jonathan Wyatt (narrative inquiry and autoethnography), Jean Clandinin (narrative inquiry), and Joanne Tompkins and Bryant Keith Alexander (theatre and performance).
