Monash Arts academics elected as Fellows to the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia
In outstanding news, three Monash Arts academics have been elected as Fellows of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.
The Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia brings together over 700 of Australia’s leading researchers and professionals across the social science disciplines. Each Fellow is elected by their peers based on a sustained and internationally distinguished contribution to their field.
This esteemed organisation has welcomed:
Professor Kate Burridge, Professor of Linguistics, School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics
Professor Jude McCulloch, Professor of Criminology and Director of the Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre
Professor Andrea Whittaker, Professor of Anthropology, School of Social Sciences
