Glass Walls: Stories of Tolerance and Intolerance from the Indian Subcontinent and Australia
Along with Dr Meenakshi Bharat, SADIRN member Dr Sharon Rundle has co-edited Glass Walls (Orient Black Swan 978-93-5287-679-2), an anthology of stories from Australia and the Indian subcontinent. Published in New Delhi, India, the collection contains work by some of our best known and emerging authors. The theme is In/tolerance.
Glass Walls will be featured at the Australian Short Story Festival 2019 in October in Melbourne. A book review, panel discussion and launch are on the programme.
“Glass Walls challenges readers to look deeply into their own prejudices and reveals how small intimacies of intolerance become the bedrock of world tragedies that tear humanity apart. A powerful anthology”, says Susanne Gervay OAM
