Monash Vision Group are always accepting applications for Final Year Projects, summer internships, PhD and B.Med.Sci projects, with the aim of helping the next generation of biomedical engineers, clinicians and researchers develop the implantable medical devices of the future. If you are an undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Biomedicine or Medicine, then we have projects that may suit your interest.
A list of possible projects will be added to this page shortly, alternatively you are free to suggest a project based on what you may know about our technology and capabilities. Please note that our projects are are multi-disciplinary in nature, and will require a high standard of work in order to achieve a demonstrable output at the conclusion of your project. You will be required to work independently with minimal direction, as our team is focussed on the product development of Gennaris. Typically, we require a GPA of around 80 or above.
To register your interest in a student project, please send an expression of interest accompanied by an academic transcript to the relevant Monash Vision Group academic staff within the departments of Electrical Engineering or Physiology.
