The welcome reception took place inside The Pavilion, Monash Business School’s new event space in Caulfield. With views across Port Philip Bay and the Dandenong Ranges it is the perfect space to enjoy a drink and catch up with the ACSEAR community.

The conference dinner was held at The Merri Table, CERES Community Environment Park, Brunswick East, Cnr Roberts & Stewart Sts, VIC, 3057. CERES Community Environment Park is an award winning sustainability centre located on 4.5 hectares on the Merri Creek in East Brunswick, Melbourne. They are a not-for-profit community business, running extensive environmental education programs, urban agriculture projects, green technology demonstrations and a number of social enterprises including a market, grocery, café, community kitchen, organic online supermarket and a permaculture and bushfood nursery. Tamil Feasts, a CERES social enterprise that supports recently settled asylum seekers, catered dinner and 2017 Advance Global Australian Agriculture Award Winner and Co-Founder of the Blue Mountains Permaculture Institute (BMPI) was our invited dinner speaker.
