Eugene Chan

I am a Senior Lecturer in Marketing. I earned my PhD in Marketing from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. I also hold degrees from the Universities of Chicago and Michigan.

I am trained as a consumer psychologist, and my research interests look at decision-making. One stream of research focuses on decisions regarding sustainability and altruism defined broadly, such as donations to charities, sustainable tourist choices, and general altruistic behaviours. I also have conducted research on changing people’s behaviours to reduce the harmful effects of climate change.

I publish and consult regularly. I have previously taught at the University Ljubljana in Slovenia and University of Technology Sydney.
