While the past two years have been turbulent and unprecedented, we now move on optimistically – and there is no better showcase than Monash Business School’s Celebrating Excellence Awards.
We are justly proud of the talent and achievement of our students, alumni, academic community, educators and professional staff.
I am particularly delighted to announce the recipients of two important award categories which we announce at this time every year.
The Monash Business School Alumni Excellence Award highlights a star achiever in our alumni community; the Future Global Leaders showcase the immense rising talent of our students.
The Alumni Excellence Award has been awarded to Annie Lim, Vice President of Human Resources at biotherapeutics firm, Hummingbird Bioscience.
Ms Lim is an outstanding example of a graduate who is creating a positive impact on the world through her outstanding professional contributions.
Helping to find the best people to further Hummingbird’s goals of developing better treatments for cancer or autoimmune diseases allows Ms Lim to foster success in others and contribute to a both flourishing culture and a great social purpose.
You can read more about Annie’s achievements here.
The Future Global Leaders awards feature two outstanding students whom we believe are well on their way to shaping a better future.
Master of Advanced Finance student Shahjadi Anika is our postgraduate recipient. A passion for change led her to concentrate on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria; this has already flowed through to helping her family’s garment export business in Bangladesh make important changes.
