Summary
This project will aim to develop and validate a preference-based wellbeing index that can estimate the benefits and thus the cost-effectiveness of investments for people with disabilities. This is a multi-stage study, and the first stage will develop a classification system for the NDIS Wellbeing Index, which will aim to align closely with the NDIS Outcomes Framework and Australia’s Disability Strategy. The index will be patient-centred, evidence-based, and policy-relevant.
