Graduate research scholarship

How to apply

  1. Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for admission with scholarship (high distinction/H1) and have a suitable background in economics or health economics.
  2. Send the following information to
    1. Copy of all completed university-level academic transcripts, degree certificates and grading scales
      Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    2. Research proposal or, if you have applied to a project specific PhD scholarship, a 1-2 page letter which outlines your research skills, experience and why the topic interests you
    3. Evidence that English language requirements have been met or a short statement outlining that you will be able to provide the relevant evidence by the scholarship closing date
    4. Please state whether you are applying as a domestic or international applicant and provide evidence of your domestic/international status (e.g. copy of passport, visa etc)

We ask that you send your expression of interest at least six weeks prior to the scholarship application closing date (outlined below) so we have time to assess your suitability for the program and to match you to a suitable supervisor.

Those applicants who pass the expression of interest stage will then be invited to submit a full scholarship application before the subsequent deadline.

Current stipend scholarship values with top up scholarships are also available to outstanding candidates.
