This unit may count as a capstone or elective unit in your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.  It is also a major unit for Accounting, Finance and Banking and Finance majors.

This study tour is an exciting way to experience and explore issues in accounting and banking & finance related to the environment, in particular, water resource allocation and consumption around the Murray-Darling Basin in Australia.

The unit will be delivered as block mode, starting on Monday 27 June including a two-day program on the 30 June and 1 July. The planned site visits are scheduled from 4 - 6 July. Planned places to be visited include Albury and possibly Echuca (others may be substituted if required) which are along the Murray-Darling Basin. During the trip, meetings will be scheduled with authorities and experts in the field providing participants with information about the impact of climate change on water and its management. A final itinerary and costing are expected to be provided after the student selection process is completed in April.
