If the course you chose doesn't quite feel like the right fit anymore, you may be able to transfer to another one. Transfers are competitive though, so we can't guarantee you'll get a place.
Similarly, changing your course to another campus will depend on campus capacity.
To transfer into a course, you need to make sure you meet the prerequisites. Check these on our course finder website.
Applying for a transfer
Semester 1 Intake:
Applications open in mid-September and close on 31 October 2017.
You'll hear back about your application in January or February. This notification will come after the closing date for re-enrolment, so it's important that you re-enrol in your current course, even if you've applied for a transfer.
Semester 2 Intake:
Applications open in March 2018 – check back here for more information then.
If you apply for a transfer in semester two, you'll be notified of the outcome as soon as possible.
Submitting your application
Find all the information you need to apply on our internal course transfer page. We won't accept applications after the closing date, so be sure to get yours in on time.
If you're successful
You can accept or decline a transfer offer by emailing your decision to the Student Services Office. If you're a Monash Malaysia student accepting an offer into Monash Australia, you'll need to submit your Acceptance document to email@example.com.
