Located near San Francisco, the University of California, Berkeley is a flagship research institution in the United States. It is ranked as one of the world’s most prestigious universities and the top public university in the United States.

This study tour will immerse you into the world of Silicon Valley. You will be exposed to industry leaders who will share their tales of success and failure in workshops where you will be actively engaged with experienced entrepreneurs and innovators. You will learn from top academics at Berkeley about innovation, entrepreneurship and the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset. You will also visit some of the biggest tech companies in the world (subject to COVID-19 restrictions).

This program will challenge you to push beyond your perceived limits and boundaries, enabling you to pursue any of your future endeavours with confidence. This two-week, intensive unit is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Designed by world-class faculty at the Haas School of Business at Berkeley and global industry leaders, the curriculum includes a wide array of topics related to start-ups. This includes, design thinking, the lean start-up approach, venture finance, horizon technology, design research, prototyping and pitching. The program will require you to work in a start-up style team of your peers, where you will work on a real-world challenge. This will culminate in a final pitch to a panel of Silicon Valley investors.
