The ESA Monash Forum is a joint initiative between Monash Business School and the Economic Society of Australia (ESA). You can read more about the emergence of this initiative here.

The forum is designed to explore the extent to which Australian economists agree or disagree on key national and global public policy issues, through regular polling of the eminent economists on the ESA's National Economic Panel .

Our panel members include the President of the Economic Society of Australia and distinguished Professors, Commissioners, Chief Executives, Deans, Managing Directors and Senior Lecturers.

Our panel regularly considers questions about a topical policy or economic issue. Each member responds by indicating whether they agree or disagree with the issue, identifying their level of confidence in their answer and providing a short analysis or commentary.

This exciting initiative provides an open forum for economic debate in this country, and provides an environment for insight and analysis into the public policy issues facing the nation, and the world.

If you are interested in submitting a question for our panel to answer, question ideas can be submitted through this form.
