- 4 June 2020 at 8:30 am – 5 June 2020 at 5:00 pm
Monash Business School will host the 16th annual Australasian Development Economics Workshop (ADEW), sponsored by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, bringing together development economists from Australia and internationally.
Professor Leonardo Bursztyn (University of Chicago) will be the keynote speaker.
Call for papers
The Organising Committee of the 16th ADEW invites submissions for the 2020 workshop. High quality academic papers on all aspects of development economics are welcome. We particularly encourage papers with policy insights relating to the Asia-Pacific region.
Extended abstracts or, preferably, full papers should be submitted via Conference Maker by 13 March 2020. All papers will be peer reviewed, and authors will be notified by mid-April.
Financial assistance may be available to support a limited number of PhD students who wish to present at the Workshop. If you are applying for financial assistance, please state that during the submission stage.
A program, accommodation options and further information will be circulated in April.
