Louisa Warren, Executive Manager, Office of Indigenous Engagement – CSIRO 

Louisa Warren is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman with family connections to Badu Island. She is a highly experienced professional with over twenty years experience in community engagement, strategy and policy development and is passionate about driving sustainable outcomes in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

In 2018, Louisa joined the CSIRO as the Executive Manager of the Indigenous Engagement team and now leads CSIRO’s Reconciliation Action Plan to drive stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through scientific knowledge sharing, education, employment opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships that can deliver a positive impact for the benefit of all Australians.

Dr Claire Mason, Principal Research Scientist – CSIRO

Dr Mason leads the Technology and Work team in CSIRO’s Data61. The team use Artificial Intelligence to derive insights from big datasets regarding the way in which new technologies are affecting demand for workers and skills.
They also explore how these data can be used to support informed career decisions in response to technological disruption.
Claire’s research is widely published in both peer reviewed journals and mainstream media outlets.

Dr Umair Masood, General Practitioner - Neale Street Medical Clinic

Dr Umair Masood is a GP who works in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria. He is a Senior Partner at the Neal Street Medical Clinic group, the Gisborne Specialist Centre, and the Gisborne Skin Clinic. Umair is also a Board Director at the Bendigo Hospital. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Medical faculty of Monash University. Umair is also the Vice President of the Australian Society of General Practice. He has worked both in Europe and Australia since graduating medical school.

Scott Thomson, Head of Innovation, Customer Engineering - Google

Mr Thompson has worked at Google since 2015 in the Ads Data Platforms, Analytics and Google Cloud product areas across the Australia-New Zealand and APAC regions. Previous to this, Mr Thomson worked with Adobe across APAC on digital strategy and digital transformation. He is passionate about working with and helping startups throughout Australia and New Zealand, and still dreams of running away to join another startup circus.
