MBA Alumni Thought Leadership Bookclub: Self-Fidelity

07/1/2021 06:00 pm 07/1/2021 07:30 pm Australia/Melbourne MBA Alumni Thought Leadership Bookclub: Self-Fidelity

We are pleased to invite you to the second MBA Alumni Thought Leadership Bookclub: Self-fidelity - The practice of being true to one's essential nature. Join us for an exclusive evening with author Cassandra Goodman.

Working life can feel like a never-ending masterclass on how to fit in and fix all the ways we are not yet good enough. Constantly we scurry to prove and improve ourselves. We often feel overwhelmed and depleted. But what if true success and happiness flows from being who we are, not changing who we are? The practice of self-fidelity lifts us out of a half-dead existence to rediscover the thrill of living – through our work. As we rise above our legacy of rigid, restricted thinking we can begin to consider a broad spectrum of new perspectives and explore the highest aspirations we hold for our one, short, working life. By cultivating a better understanding of our essential nature, and all the things that have been suppressing it, we lift ourselves and others up – this is the practice of self-fidelity.

MBA alumni can participate in this event either in person or via zoom, please select the appropriate ticket at checkout. Join us at The Pavilion, Level 8, Building H, 900 Dandenong Rd, Caulfield East, 3145, or via Zoom (Pavilion seats are limited so booking is essential).

We look forward to welcoming you on 1 July.
