Andy Ward is an established and versatile consultant and business leader, with a track record of building, managing and improving businesses. Specialising in technology, health and life sciences sectors, his work over the last 25 years has seen him work with multinationals, big firm consultancies, governments, start-ups and not for profits on areas such as strategy and policy implementation, cost reduction, efficiency and productivity improvements, and new operating models – always with leaders and their development at the heart of the change.
Andy is a trusted client advisor and often works embedded in organisations to accelerate business change objectives. His international experience spans across the UK, Australia, Europe, Middle East, and USA. Andy founded WHI Consulting in 2014 as a vehicle for his work and that of his trusted associates. Before this, he led GE Healthcare's consulting practice in Northern Europe - specialising in business transformation, operational excellence and leadership development, and was a leader in Deloitte's London consulting practice with interests in Programme Leadership and Healthcare Transformation.
Notable consulting work includes leading the development of a ‘blueprint’ for health service delivery for the whole of Dubai, and translating a strategy for a major pharma company into a new operating model.
Andy has a Bachelor degree in Applied Physics from Brunel University (London) and a Masters of Business Administration from the Open University Business School (UK).
