Fee information is available for the following research degrees:

Domestic student fees

Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens do not pay tuition fees as the Research Training Scheme (RTS) provides Commonwealth-funded graduate research degree candidates with an 'entitlement' to a commonwealth-supported place for the duration of an accredited research course, up to a maximum period of four years full-time equivalent study for a doctorate and two years full-time equivalent study for a master's by research.

International student fees

All international candidates studying in Australia must enrol on a full-time basis and pay full fees. Course fees are not fixed for the duration of the course and may increase throughout the course. International candidates are also required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Candidates who are accompanied to Australia by dependants must have family rate cover for OSHC.

Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)

All candidates are required to pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). This fee is charged based on the enrolment mode and study load within a calendar year. Information is available on the fees website. International students do not have to make an additional payment because the international course fees include a provision for the SSAF.
