Joe and Golda Isaac Scholarship

There is no need to apply for this scholarship, students who have accepted an offer of admission to the doctoral program will automatically be considered.

The Joe and Golda Isaac Scholarship is offered to one PhD student in the area of Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related field.

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded based on merit, research specificity and recommendation by the Associate Dean, Graduate Research in consultation with relevant academic advisors.

About Joe and Golda Isaac

Emeritus Professor Joe Isaac has long been one of Australia's most distinguished scholars and practitioners in the field of industrial relations. He has made very significant contributions to the fields of economics, industrial relations policy and practice, dispute settlement, and social and economic development.

Golda was a well known botanist who also worked at Monash and was made a life long member of the Friends of Botanical Gardens for her life long work.

Professor Isaac and his late wife Golda had been long-standing supporters of the Business School and Professor Isaac continues to be a much valued member of our community.
