The Monash MBA Alumni Support Fund

Monash Business School is committed to supporting leaders in advancing their professional careers.  Monash MBA alumni have generously agreed to support up to four candidates for The Monash MBA in 2023-2024. Each recipient of the support fund will receive a fee subsidy of $50,000 over the two-year program ($25,000 per year).


To be eligible for the support fund, you must be:

  • A commencing Monash University postgraduate (coursework) student enrolled or intending to enrol in the Monash MBA; and
  • An Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa.
  • MBA applicants must have accepted their Course Offer by November 30, 2022.

Selection criteria

The support fund is awarded based on academic and professional achievement and is aimed at candidates with diverse educational backgrounds and industry experiences, whether in the private, for-purpose or public sectors.

Recipients will demonstrate in their application and at interview commitment, capability and contribution to leadership in their organisations and their communities, and a willingness to contribute back to the Monash MBA during and after their MBA studies.

Application process

Applicants for the support fund must submit an application statement labelled ‘The Monash MBA Alumni Support Fund’. The application statement must be addressed to and address the selection criteria in not more than 500 words.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview for the Monash MBA Alumni Support Fund to be held in November.

Applications for the The Monash MBA Alumni Support Fund close on November 15, 2022. Successful applicants will be notified by December 15, 2022.
