- Strategy Manager, Transurban
- "Through my experiences in the Monash MBA, I know I have the ability to find the answer."
Dan Sheridan (MBA class of 2017) recently achieved one of his career objectives by moving to the job of Strategy Manager at Transurban, an ASX Top 20 company, at the end of his first year on the program.
While the Monash MBA motivated Dan to look for his next career challenge, it was the validation he received from peers that gave him confidence to pursue and secure the position.
The Monash MBA cohort consist of only fifty students who stay together for the duration of the two-year program. This allows a strong collegiate atmosphere to develop where students support each other to excel, and build a lasting network in the process.
In their MBA consulting projects and ongoing teamwork, Dan’s classmates have taught him to have confidence in himself. He also took advantage of the MBA Career Advancement Program to maintain focus throughout his job search and present a well-rounded application.
“Even though I’ll continuously come across new challenges and problems, through my experiences in the Monash MBA, I know I have the ability to find the answer”, Dan said.
Dan will be managing and developing urban toll road networks across Australia and the United States. He is leading a project team in investigating new technologies to provide tolling services for commercial customers, whilst leading strategic thinking about the future of road funding both in Australia and globally.
